The Global Fertility Academy (GFA) offers basic and advanced courses in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) through e-learning sessions as well as practical sessions. The courses are designed and intended for physicians and other healthcare professionals engaged in the field of infertility treatment and have been developed by a board of clinical advisors. Each e-learning session is built up as a module divided into educational units (blocks) with final tests. A certificate will reflect your successful progress.

Get certified
GFA-Certification is a formal recognition of physicians and other healthcare professionals who have updated their knowledge in the field of ART. All GFA modules will be submitted for CME Accreditation from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). Participation is now possible, whereas certification is granted after successful performance of all tests within the module, i.e. a minimum of 75% has been scored in each test.

Certificates will be issued for the following:

• CME Certificate: successful participation and full module fee including online learning aspect and CME accreditation (see below)
• GFA-Certificate: successful participation and module fee with online learning aspect only (see below)

Please note: only successful performance of the test empowers you to participate practice sessions.

Module format
Each module is divided into chapters. The general completion time for each chapter is estimated at approximately one hour. Two or three chapters will be combined to an educational unit (block) that has to be completed by passing a test (see Test procedure).

Module fee
Module subscription is as follows:

Online learning aspect                                                          €500
Online learning aspect with CME accreditation                €800
Practice Session                                                                 €2,500*

*with the exception of the practical session in Embryology with a fee of 3500€

Please note: the Practice session's fee of 2500€ (respectively 3500€ for the Practice session in Embryology) is a pure tuition fee and does not include accommodation, flight or any other costs.
